Lisa Débat

Lisa Débat is a ceramist based in Strasbourg. Together we designed her logo based on the handwritten signature that she engraves on the back of her pottery. We used her sketches as a basis for the illustrations. I also created a background texture reminiscent of the pyrite clay she uses, which gives a distinctive style to her creations. For the printed part, we used a paper made from food industry waste, the colour of which naturally reproduces the speckled effect of the pyrited clay. This eliminates the need to print a background colour, limiting the amount of ink used and improving the recyclability of the paper.
